Description of the step and how to work with it in funnel creation/editing mode

Overview

A step is a video clip with an interactive block that varies depending on the step type.

The step in the workspace consists of:

  1. Notes (Not visible to funnel visitors)

  2. Step name (Not visible to funnel visitors)

  3. Video

  4. Step type / interactive block

  5. Connectors (for step transitions)

Notes

You can add notes to each step. Create a note in the step settings panel.

Step Name Field

The step name is for internal use only and is not visible to the funnel visitor.

To rename a step, double-click on the step name on the canvas or in the step list (sidebar control panel).

Or right-click the step in the step list (sidebar control panel) and select the “Rename” command.

Video

Each step contains a video file, which can be uploaded from your computer or selected from the media library.

Step Types

The interactive block depends on the selected step type and is responsible for visitor interaction with the funnel. Each type has its own settings.

Connectors

Connectors are buttons with the (+) icon that link steps together.

How to Add a New Step

You can add a step in several ways.

1. From an Existing Step

You can add a step from an existing one. Hover over the connector (+) and click on it. Then select the step type in the pop-up window.

2. From the Toolbar

If you want to add a step to the canvas without linking it, you can do so by using the "Add Step" button on the toolbar.

3. Right-Click

Right-click on an empty area of the canvas. In the pop-up window, hover over "Add Step" and select the step type you need from the list.

Right-clicking on a step opens an action window.

Deletes the step from the canvas. The video remains in the media library

The action window can also be accessed from the step list in the control panel.
